    • 1 in 7 men have been severely abused (hit with a fist or hard object, kicked, choked, burned, etc.) by an intimate partner.
    • 48.8% of men have experienced at least one psychologically aggressive behavior (stalked, insulted or humiliated, have been threatened by an intimate partner.

“>Facts about men, boys and sexual assault:

The U.S Centers for Disease Control estimate that at least 1 in 6 men have had unwanted sexual experiences, including abuse and assault.
This statistic is very likely an underestimate. ā€‹
Perpetrators of sexual assault against men and boys can be male or female, any sexual orientation, or age, and they can have any relationship to the victim.
Men and boys who have been sexually assaulted or abused may have many of the same feelings and reactions as other survivors of sexual assault.
They may also face some additional challenges because of social attitudes and stereotypes about men and masculinity.
